New Balance 550 Replacement Laces

The New Balance 550 went from an obscure 1989 basketball shoe to one of the most worn silhouettes in UK streetwear. The chunky profile and clean colourways are best served by flat laces - and the 550 is one of those shoes where clean white laces do a lot of the aesthetic heavy lifting.

The 550 uses 6 pairs of eyelets and takes a New Balance Replacement Shoelace approximately 120cm in length. Our flat laces sit flush in the 550's eyelets, bowing neatly without excess length flopping around the ankle. Measure your stock laces before removing — the 550 can vary slightly between sizes and colourways.

White is overwhelmingly the most popular call on the 550 — it suits almost every colourway the 550 has released. Grey works on the grey and silver colourways. Black gives a sharp contrast on the white and red colourways. £2 a pair
